Position Description: Summary/Objective
Pick and Pack Employees, also called shippers, perform repetitive or assembly line operations to mass pack non-toxic cleaning products for our online customers. These employees are expected to meet a high level of accuracy, pace, and quality in keeping with the companys standards.
Role and Responsibilities
Fill out required paperwork such as daily Shipping Logs and waste sheets Utilize shipping software to print pick lists and labels- according to the direction or guidance of the Supervisor or other leadership personnel. Pack orders and prepare them to be shipped, being aware of the overall appearance of the package. Inspect outgoing products before packing them, to ensure they are not damaged or missing parts Always be aware of inventory needs, reporting shortages to the appropriate persons when something is low in stock Ship finished good products Receive raw materials Move and organize materials as needed Cycle counting for inventory as directed
Work Environment
Work in indoor environments, some areas that do not have air conditioning, such as a warehouse. Work closely with other people
Supportive managers and co-workers in an overall healthy environment
Qualifications and Requirements
Excellent time management skills Highly detail-oriented Ability to be self-led and problem solve
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds Prolonged periods of standing Bending, stooping, reaching
